A wintertime theme was my idea of the perfect wedding theme, so we got married in January. A wedding built around snow and ice can be wonderful, and there are plenty of items you can obtain to make it happen. If you’re going with any kind of themed ceremony or reception at all, you will find loads of alternatives to pick from when you get around to shopping for gifts, invitations, and other products you’ll need. Our wedding ceremony color scheme was in silver and wintery blue. The unity candle was surrounded by other candles with a winter style to them, along with simulated snowflakes on the altar. It was a magical wedding.
All of the reception tables had red table runners and white tablecloths. I had beautiful white orchids in gorgeous silver vases for our centerpieces and they went so well with the winter décor. I ran across some snowball ornament place card holders, and I used those for the reception. Whether we use them as ornaments or place card holders, they look fabulous, and they can be used for either. As wedding thank you gifts for our friends and family we decided on these lovely toasting flutes and little novelty champagne bottles favors with bubbles. As thank yous, champagne flutes are hard to beat. Our reception hall called to mind a scene of freshly-fallen snow in the middle of winter. The wedding cake topper we picked out was a snowflake made of porcelain, and our three-layered wedding cake sat atop a cake stand that was shaped like a sleigh. I picked out the cake serving set on the net, and it had wintery designs on it, too. There was an icy blue shade to the handles which was accentuated with white snowflakes. It was an exact match for the sign-in book and pen set I had bought.
For the special wedding flute, we had beautifully designed winter wedding themed flutes with handles that were exactly like the cake server set and guestbook. The coloring scheme was cool blue and white with a few small snowflakes to match everything else on our table. Actually all the tables were exquisite and our guests were very happy with the wedding favors and place card holders they got to take home with them. The little flower girl seemed happy with her necklace we got her for a thank you gift, plus she got to keep the little tiara she wore in the wedding ceremony. Our ring bearer was excited because he got his own tee shirt and a yo-yo made of stainless steel. For my bridesmaids I chose tank tops with bridesmaid written across in in crystals and for my maid of honor I picked out a maid of honor shirt and a crystal bracelet. The men’s presents were handled by my groom. For his groomsmen, he has ordered digital portable clocks and for his best man, a nice novelty pen desk set and best man mug. I could tell that all of our friends and family were having a fantastic time at the reception and they all seemed to like the little favors and gifts we bought for them.
The array of wedding materials I found on the net made our ceremony and reception a dream come true, for both of us. The prices that we found on the Internet were so good that we saved a significant amount of money by looking there. It wasn’t just wedding items, either; I got plenty of things for the honeymoon as well. We found a shirt and hats that said ‘Bride’ and ‘Groom’ on them, and a pillow to hang outside our door indicating that we did not wish to be bothered. The ‘Do Not Disturb’ pillow ended being a very practical choice.

Some of the Best Wedding Toasting Flutes I’ve seen!
Tuesday, December 1st, 2009Wedding Toasting Flutes to Match Any Theme!
Monday, November 30th, 2009We picked January for the wedding day since I have always wanted a wedding that had a winter motif. More than enough products are available to help fulfill any bride’s wish for a wedding with a winter genre. From wedding invitations to wedding favors there are all kinds and styles of accessories to choose from for almost any themed wedding you’re planning to have. The colors at our wedding centered around silver and an icy blue. The unity candle was surrounded by other candles with a winter style to them, along with simulated snowflakes on the altar. It was a magical wedding.
The white tableclothes at our reception looked lovely next to the red table runners on each table. In the middle of each reception table sat freshly cut white orchids inside of a glimmering silver vase, and it all went with the wintery ambiance wonderfully. I ran across some snowball ornament place card holders, and I used those for the reception. Whether we use them as ornaments or place card holders, they look fabulous, and they can be used for either. To express our gratitiude for their coming to our special day, we got our relatives and other loved ones champagne bottles favors and matching toasting flutes. If you’re looking for a wonderful way to say thank you, wedding toasting flutes do the trick. Our reception hall called to mind a scene of freshly-fallen snow in the middle of winter. We had a wedding cake with three layers; underneath it was a cake stand in the form of a sled, and above it was a cake topper made out of porcelain in the form of a snowflake. Our cake serving set was also a winter themed accessory I found while shopping online. There was an icy blue shade to the handles which was accentuated with white snowflakes. Perfect for our themed reception and the handles matched with the winter wedding guestbook and pen I picked out.
The artwork on the the cake serving utensils and the guestbook was identical to that on the wedding flute, and they all looked brilliant. They had the little snowflakes and were done in white and icy blue colors and were really exquisite with all the other winter themed accessories on our wedding table. Our reception guests loved the place card holders and other gifts that they received, and the look of the tables was to die for. The little flower girl seemed happy with her necklace we got her for a thank you gift, plus she got to keep the little tiara she wore in the wedding ceremony. The ring boy thought the ring bearer tee shirt and stainless steel yoyo was pretty cool. I got tank tops with crystals spelling out the word bridesmaid on them for all of my girls, plus I got my maid of honor a crystal bracelet besides. My fiance took care of shopping for the guys. He bought a best man mug and a neat pen set for the best man, and everyone else received a battery-operated digital clock. I could tell that all of our friends and family were having a fantastic time at the reception and they all seemed to like the little favors and gifts we bought for them.
The products I discovered on the Internet made our wedding day everything I dreamed it could be. The prices that we found on the Internet were so good that we saved a significant amount of money by looking there. I found supplies for both the wedding and the honeymoon online. We found a shirt and hats that said ‘Bride’ and ‘Groom’ on them, and a pillow to hang outside our door indicating that we did not wish to be bothered. We got plenty of use out of that pillow.
