The first thing I did when I decided to give my girlfriend a bridal shower was to put together a list of everything I was going to need for thte shower. The first priority was finding a party invitation. Dragging myself from shop to shop hoping to find a good deal or a decent selection isn’t my idea of a good time, so I went searching for supplies online. I hit the jackpot there. The prices and selection were both better than I expected. I even got a few items at a great discount price. The shower invitations were very high quality with pearl edges and silver writing. I found some darling place card holders for the party as well, among other things. The wedding guest book was another present I purchased; it would help the couple keep good records of who gave them which gifts. There was also a cute idea for a place card holder that I really liked. The place cards themselves had pink lilies on them, and then everyone got a handbag made of plastic and filled with candy in different-colored wrappers. Next to the other decorations and presents, they were a real eye-catcher. No matter what the reason for the gathering, they have an appropriate favor box to go with it. Flower decorations were on the containers I picked out, and I put them all on a serving dish on the table that held the gifts. Every person at the bridal shower took a gift from the platter, and it looked classy that way. As thank you gifts I decided on manicure sets for everyone, and I bought a few extra gifts as prizes for the party games we were going to play. I got little decorative soaps, purse mirrors, novelty key rings and many other little trinkets that made great prizes.
Party game suggestions abound on the Internet. If you want to see something humorous, try playing ‘Take It Off,” a game where you have to but a bag on your head and then, when the person running the game tells you to take off one piece of clothing, you have to take one off – and it’s astonishing how many women don’t have it come to mind that they ought to take off the bag. It’s comical to watch that game unfold, and it’s a good way to see just how smart your friends are. We also played bridal bingo and a couple other funny games. Looking online saved me a ton of money and exposed me to a lot of options I, otherwise, wouldn’t have known anything about. I made out alright purchasing my favors and invitations from them. The things I purchased were well made, and I spent a lot whole less than I thought I would have to, and had a whole lot more choices. I had to tell the bride to be all about this website I go to, because they have an awesome selection of wedding invitations and favors too, and I thought she should know about it. Getting her things for the wedding here will save her money and give her some great ideas to work with. I know it helped to make this bridal shower a success. The bridal shower was a sensation, and everyone there liked their shower favors, too. The people who took the time to go to the shower will all get thank you cards, which I’m working on now.
