After being told about a website that had reasonable prices and a super selection of accessories for both wedding ceremonies and receptions, I decided to take a look for myself. She was right, they had everything from wedding invitations to wedding favors and none of it was really expensive. They even carry super groomsmen gifts and bridesmaids gifts along with all the other fantastic wedding items they have to offer. Needless to say, that’s where I did all my shopping for the wedding decorations and supplies.
Since we had planned our wedding date to be in December, I wanted to have a winter wonderland wedding and reception and this was the perfect place to get what I needed for it. I ordered very decorative winter wedding bulletins to send out as invitations. When I went searching for my flower girls basket and the ring boys pillow I found a wedding set that not only had both those things but also, a guestbook, pen set and a lovely wedding garter too. All the pieces matched and I was really surprised at the total cost of the set, it was so much lower than I would expect. I was reading up on wedding ceremonies and that since throwing petals as the bride and groom leave the church may not be exceptable in many churches and couples are substituting bubbles in place of petals. So I ordered bottles of bubbles from this online shopping site I’m using and they also send you little bubble cards for each bottle.
You should see all the accessories I was able to get for our reception. I bought all the gifts for the entire wedding party from there, including gifts for the bridesmaids, flower girl and ring boy. My fiance was happy that they had so many cool groomsmen wedding gifts ideas for him to choose from.
The groomsman favors of his choosing were glass mugs that had the word groomsman printed on the mug. Since the cheap groomsman gift and the rest of the people in our wedding was taken care of, I could shop for favors for our friends and family. I had quite a selection of winter themed gifts to pick from for our guests at the reception. As thank you gifts, I chose glass votive candles with a frosty winter theme, for all of our guests. Each candle had nice little silver snowflakes around it. The votive candles came in adorable little wedding favor boxes with a lovely silver thank you tag attached.
The place card holders I chose were beautiful little snow ornaments that the guests can take home as a little momento. They had it all, winter themed champagne glasses and serving set and a funny winter wedding cake topper too. I asked the baker to turn our top layer of the wedding cake into a ski slope, since the topper I picked was of a bride and groom on skis. The cake really turned out nice and I made sure there were lots of pictures of it for my gorgeous winter wonderland wedding album. After we cut the cake and had our toast done by my super brother in law, it was time for our bride and groom dance. With all eyes on us as we danced, I felt as magical as a princess in a fairy tale.
Everyone was having a fantastic time and this reception was perfection from beginning to end. All of my girls in the wedding party loved their thank you gifts as did the guys and their wedding groomsmen gifts. Some of our friends and family expressed how much they really liked the thank you gifts they received and told us what a spectacular wedding and reception we had.
