You can find so many ideas for thank you gifts for your guests that share you wedding and reception with you. For our thank you gifts to our guests, we decided on candle wedding favors, because they’re not only beautiful, but they are practical too. I added some wedding unity candles to every reception table to add to the ambiance of the wedding. That really helped us out in the financials of buying all the wedding supplies we need. Our wedding cake topper was really spectacular and it didn’t cost near as much as we expected a customized cake topper would cost. Our guests got a real kick out of our cake topper because the bride and groom looked just like us. All that was required of us was to turn in a couple of head shots of each of us so they would have something to work with. The wedding cake itself was pretty magnificent too, with three tiers of chocolate perfection and gorgeous red and and pink flowers all around it. Right beside our lucsious chocolate perfection was the most gorgeous cake knife serving set I’ve ever seen, and I insisted on buying this lovely calla lily set.
We ordered special champagne flutes for our wedding table that saids ‘bride’ and ‘groom’ on them, and other crystal flutes for our guests, that they were also given to take home. We have no use for 200 champagne glasses, so why not let our friends and family have them as keepsakes? With our guestbook with all the signatures, our gorgeous picture album, our very unique wedding cake topper and so much more, we really didn’t need much else for keepsakes. Our lovely five piece set that I ordered in gorgeous claret, had our guest book with a small area for little keepsakes, pages for the guests to put their names and list the gifts each guest brought. I think the guest book is important, not only to have everyones’ name that attended, but for later use when you are filling out thank you notes. You don’t want to say, ‘thank you for your gift’, when you could mention the item they bought for you, so they know you care.
Some of our friends and family complimented me on my choice of unique candle wedding favors as their thank you gifts, and told me how much they liked them. Looks like a made a wise choice in wedding favors. Everyone also told me what a great time they were having at the reception, and as we were leaving they all gave us their best wishes for a happy life. This was truly one of the most unforgettable days in my life.
